BPL Happenings (August 21, 2003)

The Wichita County ARES members have been asked to contact their U.S. Congressman's local office to voice their concern over the BPL situation. Since the Congressman has a local office, they are able to telephone the office where their name and address are taken and logged. The Congressman's local office reports all of these calls to the staff in Washington, D.C. who in turn gives the comments to the Congressman. Amateurs living in a community that has a local office for their U.S. Representative should call their offices to offer their feelings toward the BPL proposals. In such areas as the DFW Metroplex, this could mean thousands of calls.
